Purpose:
This Third Edition of Reviewing Chemistry: The Physical Setting is aligned with the standards of the New York State Physical Setting—Chemistry Core Curriculum and follows the scope and sequence published by the New York City Department of Education. The book’s 12 chapters cover such topics as the physical behavior of matter, atomic concepts, nuclear chemistry, chemical bonding, periodicity, moles and stoichiometry, kinetics and equilibrium, oxidation and reduction, carbon and organic chemistry, laboratory activities, and using the Reference Tables.
The 12 chapters are subdivided into major topic sections followed by Part A and B-1 questions and a Chapter Review section.
